[Action; Locked to Lee (Possibly Neji if he wants)]
[The last thing Kankuro could remember was bright light coming thorough the gaps in Kuroari from the entrapped Edo Tensai revived Deidara. It wasn't blinding, but it was bright enough that he had put up his arm to shield his vision. Hopefully that light meant that someone had managed to find Kabuto and dissolve the Edo Tensai jutsu.
However that didn't explain why his surrounds were suddenly much more confined and dark than the outdoor forest. In fact it felt a lot like the inside of Kuroari, if taller and more square.]
What the hell?
[Kankuro waved his hand through the space in front, only for something smooth and cloth-like to brush against the bare skin of his arms. The tips of his fingers brushed against smooth wood and he blinked in the dark. His mind raced, wondering if he had somehow been trapped in a genjutsu when distracted by the light show. He quickly put his hands together to dispel.]
Kai!
[Not a damn thing changed. Kankuro cursed even as he backed up, trying to put something solid at his back. He felt wood against his bare back, and pressed against it, eyes darting. the smooth cloth was still on his arms, partially entangled due to his rapid movements to dispel earlier. He tried to pull it off, grumbling at the green fabric. It was then he noticed the slivers of light coming from behind him, like daylight through the cracks in a door which had allowed him to notice the color of the cloth. Just as he came to this realization something at his back gave the faint click and the wood at this back opened, sending a startled Kankuro falling backwards, slightly entangled in greenspandex octopus arms clothing.]

[Later Action in CH 1,Ninja Floor; Floor 4.]
[Congratulations floor 4, you now have an irritated, shirtless, face-paint less, Kankuro sitting in your kitchen.
Approach the Puppet master/mysterious dude at your own risk.
Reactions may vary percustomer shinobi.]
[Even Later Later Action.]
[After getting up to speed on the weirdness which is Luceti, Kankuro finally leaves CH 1. It's off to the Clothing Shop to find his clothes, If you stumble across him before he get his clothing, you'll find a rather hunched but moving figure, briskly trying to keep his arms warm and cursing snow, damp and general cold with a fervent passion.
Once dressed for the weather Kankuro then heads over to the Item shop to look for hismakeup face paint and puppet scrolls.
Those tasks complete, he may stop by the Grocery Store more out of curiosity than anything else before heading back to CH1.]
((ooc; Kankuro is FACEPAINTLESS until he finds it at the storeOr until Temari lets him wear her lipstick on his face. So even if your character knows him they may not recognize him. Obvious expection are those who've seen him without it before.))

[Action: You Know The One]
Ah... Kankuro-kun! You are in my wardrobe!
[Action: The Closet/Lee's room]
That voice. This...green spandex monstrosity trying to eat his arms. That same damn jumpsuit he could see attached to a bowlcut and too much enthusiasm. He knew exactly whose wardrobe he'd just fallen out of.]
Lee-kun?
[Okaaaay, from 'middle-of-forest-battle' to 'Lee's-closet'. What the hell was happening here.]
What the hell is going on?
[Action: The Closet/Lee's room]
However... I now notice your clothes! That of a New Feather! Have you recently arrived here? As well as Gaara-kun?
[Action: The Closet/Lee's room]
Wait. Wait, what? What?]
...Okay, okay first of all, no. If I was going to spy on you, windows work quite well. Secondly, Gaara has his damn eye of sand, if he wants to spy on you he can do it himself and probably would.
[Kankuro blinks at Lee. Okay, so where ever he is, it's getting weirder.]
...New Feather?
[Wait, what's this about Gaara?]
Well, unless Gaara is now standing in your closet, then he certainly wasn't with me.
[He thinks a moment.]
Wait, are you saying Gaara isn't here? At all? What the hell is going on dammit!?
[Action: The Closet/Lee's room]
Your confusion tells me that your are truly new to this world! Gaara-kun must not be with you yet. [Oh well. The rematch will have to wait. Or maybe he can simulate something in the Battle Dome that can suffice for the time being.] Kankuro-kun, in essence... you are not home anymore. Another world has drawn you in, as it has many of us. It is not a Genjutsu!
[Action: The Closet/Lee's room]
Oh god the enthusiasm. Don't get Kankuro wrong, he actually doesn't mind Lee, but sometimes he is too easily reminded of an enthusiastic jackal pup and it's both astounding and tiring.
He stares blankly at Lee, even as he finally manages to get the clinging octopus of spandex off his arms. He raise a hand, finger pointed and opens his mouth, before closing it. He closes his eyes, and pinches the bridge of his nose before exhaling a long breath. Then he looks at Lee again.]
...So, this place is not of our time and space continuum? [He is uncomfortably reminded of Madara and the summit of the Kages. Kankuro runs a hand through his hair in building frustration.]
Shit.
[Action: The Closet/Lee's room]
[Action: The Closet/Lee's room]
It's tempting for Neji to simply say it's none of his business and ignore the whole thing. But he's curious, and he doesn't recognize the voice.
How convenient that Lee's door is open. Have him in the doorway, arms folded.]
Well, that's an interesting location for a new arrival.
[Action: The Closet/Lee's room]
Wait, wait back up. So this place is disconnected from our own timeline...but also connected in multiple places?
[What the hell.
And whoa, sudden new arrival is sudden.
Kankuro turns and looks at Neji.
...What is with all the damn Leaf Shinobi?]
... ... Interesting is one word.
[Some sort of hell is another. So much green spandex. Kankuro shivers slightly, remembering the clinging of the fabric. His face goes deadpan.]
Not my first choice.
[Action: The Closet/Lee's room]
[He nods, surely Kankuro will understand this.]
Ah, Neji! Kankuro-kun was in my wardrobe.
[Action: The Closet/Lee's room]
[Neji's tone has a notable dry note to it, but it's devoid of true mockery. After all, he had worse on his own arrival in Luceti; he's in no position to throw stones.]
Welcome to Luceti, Kankuro.
[Action: The Closet/Lee's room]
Oh....kay. Right, that's just weird.
[Get a half-hearted glare Neji. You are lucky his mind is still spinning from the sheer WTF factor of his arrival and the things Lee has told him.]
Thanks.
[Deadpan voice is deadpan.]
[Action: The Closet/Lee's room]
[Action: The Closet/Lee's room]
Weird is a good word for it, but you'll get used to it. [Which, in and of itself, is a little unsettling.]
[Action: The Closet/Lee's room]
[He's already getting a headache from thinking about it. Although that may just be because of being overexposed to Lee's enthusiasm.
Wait, what was that about Temari. Kankuro is suddenly on his feet and he makes to grab Lee's arm.]
Temari's here?
[He can see his sister, which would be good. It's been a little while and since he came from the war, it hard to know what exactly had been going on.]
Not sure I want to get used to it.
[Getting used to means getting complacent. Which is never safe in the desert. It may be beautiful but it was also harsh.]
[Action: The Closet/Lee's room]
Ah... yes, she is! She is living elsewhere in this building.
But I understand the feeling. We all want to return home, after all.
[Action: The Closet/Lee's room]
[As Neji has discovered, much to his general stress over the last ten months.]
Accepting and rolling with what happens is a part of settling in. For however long you'll be here, this place is what it is.
Re: [Action: The Closet/Lee's room]
Oh. Uh, thanks.
[He looks at Neji and tilts his head slightly before tsking.]
That sounds rather defeatist. Got any info on why we should just roll over and accept it?
[Because it rather sounds like you're giving up, Leaf. And Kankuro never expected to see a leaf guy give up. So either there is a reason for it, or you are a lot less of a ninja than he thought.]
[Action: The Closet/Lee's room]
It is not so simple as rolling in any direction. We are biding our time! And learning as much about the situation as possible. There is just... much constraining us. And even Shikamaru-kun has not figured something out, with all the time he's been here.
[Action: The Closet/Lee's room]
And it's about to get much, much worse.]Because we're imprisoned here, and there's no reliable way to get out. So until whatever vagary of this world that brought us here reverses it, there isn't much else to do.
That's the simple truth of the matter. There's nothing we can do to change the situation.
[Action: The Closet/Lee's room]
He tsks quietly and frowns deeply.]
I don't like waiting. I don't like being imprisoned. I hate being powerless. I really don't like this whole situation at all.
[Just a small Kankuro rant. He sighs and rubs tiredly at his face, limbs still slightly clumsy.]
But, if Shikamaru hasn't figured out anything yet, we must really be in a tight spot.
Who has enough power to hold us here against our will anyways?
[Action: The Closet/Lee's room]
[Action: The Closet/Lee's room]
It's the world itself that brings us here; to my knowledge, no one knows precisely how. But the ones who confine us to this village and its surroundings are a group called the Malnosso; they're trapped in this world as we are, but unlike us, the world doesn't send them back, so they've decided to experiment on us, in an attempt to find out just how it all works, and how everyone can be sent back to their own homes. So they say, anyway.
The reality? Nothing they've done works, and their experimentations tend to do little more than create odd and often disturbing effects in the village. And with the way some of them seem to be seasonal or based around holidays, there is plenty of reason to doubt their good intentions.
[Have a little infodump, Kankuro. Find out the easy way, not the teleported-naked-to-the-middle-of-town way like Neji did.]
[Action: The Closet/Lee's room]
Kankuro listens intently and is not very happy with what he finds out. Great! In the clutches of mad scientists. Just what he wanted for his birthday.]
And I though Orochimaru was creepy.
[Somehow this place and it's scientists managed to one-up that long tongued, snakey bastard. That is a feat.]
Well, that just great. So we are stuck here, no way to escape and subjected to the whims of people who may not have our best interest in mind.
[Kakuro pauses.]
Sounds like Suna under the previous Kazekage.
[Or really, some of the other hidden villages. Not every place was as nice as Konoha.]
[Action: The Closet/Lee's room]
It is he says. It is certainly a very unfortunate situation. But at least we have many allies here in this village.
