[The last thing Kankuro could remember was bright light coming thorough the gaps in Kuroari from the entrapped Edo Tensai revived Deidara. It wasn't blinding, but it was bright enough that he had put up his arm to shield his vision. Hopefully that light meant that someone had managed to find Kabuto and dissolve the Edo Tensai jutsu.
However that didn't explain why his surrounds were suddenly much more confined and dark than the outdoor forest. In fact it felt a lot like the inside of Kuroari, if taller and more square.]
What the hell?
[Kankuro waved his hand through the space in front, only for something smooth and cloth-like to brush against the bare skin of his arms. The tips of his fingers brushed against smooth wood and he blinked in the dark. His mind raced, wondering if he had somehow been trapped in a genjutsu when distracted by the light show. He quickly put his hands together to dispel.]
Kai!
[Not a damn thing changed. Kankuro cursed even as he backed up, trying to put something solid at his back. He felt wood against his bare back, and pressed against it, eyes darting. the smooth cloth was still on his arms, partially entangled due to his rapid movements to dispel earlier. He tried to pull it off, grumbling at the green fabric. It was then he noticed the slivers of light coming from behind him, like daylight through the cracks in a door which had allowed him to notice the color of the cloth. Just as he came to this realization something at his back gave the faint click and the wood at this back opened, sending a startled Kankuro falling backwards, slightly entangled in greenspandex octopus arms clothing.]

[Congratulations floor 4, you now have an irritated, shirtless, face-paint less, Kankuro sitting in your kitchen.
Approach the Puppet master/mysterious dude at your own risk.
Reactions may vary percustomer shinobi.]

[After getting up to speed on the weirdness which is Luceti, Kankuro finally leaves CH 1. It's off to the Clothing Shop to find his clothes, If you stumble across him before he get his clothing, you'll find a rather hunched but moving figure, briskly trying to keep his arms warm and cursing snow, damp and general cold with a fervent passion.
Once dressed for the weather Kankuro then heads over to the Item shop to look for hismakeup face paint and puppet scrolls.
Those tasks complete, he may stop by the Grocery Store more out of curiosity than anything else before heading back to CH1.]

((ooc; Kankuro is FACEPAINTLESS until he finds it at the store
[action - clothing store]
So, with little else to do this evening, he finds himself (coincidentally) looking around at the same time as the new arrival.
Now, Kakuro might have been a familiar figure if not for the fact that Itachi is near blind and not willing to use his Sharingan around just anyone. (One red eye is bound to raise questions, you see.) It would have been the lack of paint that would have made him recognizable, as even though the former Leaf ninja might not know much about Kankuro, he's very familiar with the image of the fourth Kazekage, and the puppet master resembles his father a great deal.
As it is, Itachi responds to the presence of another with a polite nod of his head, finding his way to the warmer clothing by a brush of one hand along fabric here and there.]
[action - clothing store]
However something nags at him as he hunts through the clothing. His mind quietly turns it over, poking and prodding even as almost all his attention is focused on finding his stuff. With a cry of triumph he manages to find his hood. It is at that same moment, as his conscious mind suffuses with glee at finding one of his things, that who the other man looks like bursts through.
Kankuro blinks, then turns and stares at Itachi.
Stare. Huh, he really does sort of look like Sasuke.
Stare. But I think I've seen him somewhere else too.
St- Holy shit, Bingo Book.
Before he can even stop his mouth it opens, shock in his voice.]
You're Itachi Uchiha. Aren't you supposed to be dead?
[Smooth. Just... very smooth. Kankuro cringes, even as he reaches for weapons he does not have at the moment.
Great job. Just, blurt things like that out to an S-rank missing nin. No problem. Idiot.
Double Idiot. The Edo Tensei. Duh.]
[action]
He doesn't recognize the voice, but it's clearly a new arrival from his world. Very new. So he remains still, as unthreatening as possible.]
You are correct on both accounts, but you'll find that death doesn't hold much sway here, nor does it limit who is brought in.
[Casually, he begins sorting through coats on a nearby rack.]
I'll have to be careful if New Feathers are arriving. Otherwise I might accidentally take something that belongs to one.
[action]
Kankuro doesn't move when Itachi doesn't move and instead let's him talk. While understandably wary of the S-ranked nin, he doesn't feel the need to attack without cause.]
Huh. That's... a bit weird. I got the whole multiple timelines and worlds thing, but no one mentioned the dead.
[He pauses for a moment, wondering if that means his father could show up. A shake of the head banishes that thought for now.
Kankuro watches Itachi sort through the coats, a hunch growing in his mind.]
You're blind?
[He's not trying to be rude, but Kankuro has never been the most respectful person.]
[action]
[At the comment about his sight, Itachi lets his Sharingan activate, peering at Kankuro through one red eye.
He's a fellow ninja, after all, (he's yet to see anyone brought from his world who wasn't) and less likely to be frightened off by it.]
...Almost.
[action]
I'm starting to realize that, yeah.
[So not a comfortable thought though.
The activation of the Sharingan is mildly startling, having only ever been on the opposite side of Sasuke's. Still it isn't the creepiest thing he's seen, and while he wants to look at it directly, warnings blare through his head about it's power.Kankuro instead directs his attention over Itachi's shoulder, choosing the side that hadn't activated it's Sharingan.
Not getting caught in your freaky eye power today, nope.]
Oh. That, uh, rather sucks?
[What else do you say to a member of a clan who prided themselves on their eye's? Sorry for your loss?]
So what, just that one eye can see or something? Because it's kinda weird only , well, 'seeing' one Sharingan.
[Augh. Kankuro mentally whaps himself across the head. He either needs to learn to shut up or to not give into his curiosity so easily.
Still... if Itachi doesn't want to answer he can just ignore him. Sure Kankuro will be forever curious but hey.
He'll be alive.]
[action]
The Sharingan fades from his eyes again, and he returns his attention to the rack in front of him.]
This is why I avoid using it in front of civilians.
[Kankuro is free to come to his own conclusions about his sight, as he believes it to be rather obvious.]
[action] SO sorry for the epic late. Computer issues among other things
Not that Kankuro knew that the one eye should be forever closed.
He doesn't quite breath a sigh of relief that Itachi's Sharigan is deactivated but he does relax a fraction. If the man had wanted to do harm, that eye would have been more than enough Kankuro was painfully forced to admit in the privacy of his own mind. He didn't even have a broken puppet arm to defend himself with.]
I can see how they would not take it well.
[Civilians always overreacted to Shinobi things. That was half the reason he always kept his puppets in scrolls. That and the fact it made them lighter so he could carry all of them. Sometimes he would miss the weight of Karasu on his back though...
And now it's awkward silence time. Kankuro shifts on his feet a moment before shrugging and returning to his hunt for his clothes. And warmer things. He doesn't fully relax though, still hyper aware of, if not a enemy this moment, at least someone whose power he can respect.]
[action]
[Or giving away his abilities. Old habits and all.
He leaves Kankuro to his searching, not really much for idle chatter himself and also having no desire to make the young man any more uncomfortable than he already has.
Just as soon as he can find something suitable for himself, he'll leave.]
[action]
[Kankuro is resigned to it's weirdness for today, worn down by his sudden arrival and far to many odd conversations, and some family drama of the, 'who did this to you, i'll murder them' type.
A few more moment of searching recover his black top and pants. Thank goodness, as that means he can now change out of the too small jacket he had borrowed and those white pants.
Finding a secluded corner he changes quickly, glad to have his clothes back. Even if he has to tuck his wings underneath them for now. That was an oddity he was ignoring for now.
Now maybe he could find his vest...
Hopefully it wasn't on the rack Itachi was searching through. Though the other man would probably recognize the feel of the vest and so not take it. After all, the vest were fairly uniform even between different villages, although those from the sand tended to be made of lighter material.]
[action]
It's honestly none of his business, but he knows that particular item when he feels it, and its the only one he's run into in the shop so far. Saves Kankuro the trouble, at least.]
[action]
Instead Kankuro reaches out a grabs it.]
Thanks.
[A quick check reveals nothing in it's pockets which makes him grumble wordlessly. Still he slips it on.]
Found what you are looking for yet?
[Because maybe he can help and then they can get this bizarro encounter done with. He's just too wrung out to even care that he's talking to a man who could probably beat him even with his eyes barely working.]
[action]
[The lightness of the jacket had not gone unnoticed. Having been in Kankuro's position before (and having returned to the place since) pointing out how to resolve this is simple.]
The forge can supply weaponry such as shuriken and kunai, should you find yourself lacking them.
[They're ninja staples. after all.]
[action]
[You are kind smaller than he was expecting now that you mention it. Well, not shorter though, since he is actually an inch taller than Kankuro but more slight is the word he was looking for. Then again Kankuro is unusual broad shouldered, especially considering his family.
And more unasked for advice. You sure know how to keep a nin off balance.]
Thanks for the info. You know if they can do senbon?
[Which was his preferred weapon over shuriken and kunai.]
[action]
[He'll leave that up to the teen. It's doubtful that Kakuro is a threat, but if he is then Itachi has confidence in the capabilities of those currently present to handle it.]
They create far more complicated tools than those, so I don't believe it would be a problem.
